ENCYCLOPEDIA-READ OUT TIME |
To know the time of reading of an acquired image by the CCD is enough to solve the following equation, by inserting the parameters of the camera in use:
where: RT = Read out time in ms (10 -3 s). HP = Number of the horizzontal pixels. VP = Number of the vertical pixels. VB = Vertical binning value (1 to n) HB = Horizontal binning value (1 to n) KV = Necessary time for the shift of a horizontal line in ms KH = Necessary time to read one pixel in ms Example: Camera HR260 -What is the time of reading if I work with a vertical binning of 64 lines? |
